Through out the year we work in partnership with Glendale's PR dept to organize events.  Every first Saturday of the month we hold a Farmers Market/Arts and Crafts fair in the park outside of the café and children's play park area.  There are 10 regular stallsselling items from organic fruit and vegetables, organic meat, freshly pressed fruit juices, hand-made jewelry and picture frames etc. More sellers turn up from time to time, depending on other markets across the country.

Since the introduction of the Farmers Market the park has had a huge increase in public attendance, which has made more people aware that the park exists and to enjoy the community spirit.

In summer last year a huge pig was constructed in the park which had viewing holes for the kids to view the theatre production which was taking place inside.  The park offers free football and tennis training for local children.

Once the summer arrives we hold Punch and Judy shows and get clowns in to entertain the children.  We have a bulb planting day for local children to come into the park and work alongside the gardeners/park keepers and volunteers to plant bulbs and learn about horticulture.  At Christmas we have children from the local school, accompanied by a teacher and keyboardist to sing carols to the people sitting inside and out of the café.

Keep checking back on the site for future events happening in the park.
